Puerto Rico

Last October, Annette and I ventured to Puerto Rico. First of all, the island is beautiful!  Wonderful Beaches!  Picturesque mountains!  Lighthouses!  Coffee plantations! However, I was not prepared for the narrow roads!  Especially in the mountains!  The first time on these roads can be stressful, especially for me. Anyway, please enjoy the images below.
Our first day out exploring and we found this wonderful beach along the side of the road.

Note the repeating pattern. We met some friendly people from NYC on this beach.

The park around this lighthouse was beautiful. I spent a wonderful, enjoyable hour just soaking it all in. I also took a quick nap on one of the benches! I hope Annette didn't get a picture of me sleeping!

This building was close to El Morro. We wandered in looking for a cafe' or other eatery. Although the color on this building looks flat, it had new paint and that's the way it looked. The image would not be the same without the person in the doorway.

I liked the graphic nature of this shot.

The hike to the waterfall wasn't so bad, but the heat and humidity were killers! But that didn't stop the people! There had to have been 30-40 people at the base of the falls. I had to frame the shot this way and wait quite a while for the shot without people.
